The REV3TM accelerator has several reels of different sizes that allow to change the torsion required for the accelerator to completely open the carburettors or butterfly bodies of a motorcycle. The larger the reel, the shorter the torsion. Each coil size shortens the torsion by about 10 degrees. If your original accelerator is equipped with a 40 mm retractor and the original torsion is 90 degrees (1/4 round), the 45 mm retractor will reduce the torsion to 80 degrees and the 50 mm retractor will reduce it to 70 degrees. The 35 mm winder will increase the torsion of the accelerator to about 100 degrees. This is only an example; each motorcycle model is different. The included cam retractor has a progressive profile that allows the accelerator to act as a sensitive, long-torsion accelerator during the initial openings of the accelerator for precise control, then act as a more aggressive, short-torsion accelerator during the large openings of the accelerator, gradually reducing the amount of torsion required to achieve full power. The innovative reel change system allows you to adapt the speed of the accelerator to your preferences and driving conditions. 5 different reels for a perfect response of the accelerator in all conditions. Use smaller reels for a slower accelerator and larger reels for a faster accelerator. The included cam reel provides a progressive response to the accelerator, which some drivers prefer. The thin REV3TM accelerator housing offers more space for the lever release and the position setting of the accelerator housing. The enhanced accelerator stop offers greater resistance and durability - The enclictable elbows make it easier to install and change the retractor. The cable sheath prevents dirt and dust from entering for reliable and regular operation. REV3TM off-road kits are compatible with the new Motion Pro DirtControlTM V2 Lock-On handles (01-2818 and 01-2819) and handles ODI Lock-on. Aluminum Line Cable Adjusters Billet facilitate installation and adjustment. The lower section of the cables uses a 5 mm sheath with a PTFE coating to reduce friction, increase routing flexibility and reduce weight. The upper section of the cables uses a 6 mm case to provide solid support to the adjusters.
